I’m a wooer, personally and professionally.

WOO: Winning Others Over

It’s always been a part of me, but it earned a name when I took the Gallup StrengthsFinder during a marketing class at University of Oregon in 2010.

My other four strengths, as categorized by this Myers-Briggs type test, are responsibility, positivity, learner and maximizer.

I believe these are core traits of who I am, an enthusiastic go-getter who tries to find the bright side of things. I’m driven, but I’m also not afraid to slow down and laugh at myself every now and then.

Personally, this means I’m a social butterfly and treasure quality time with friends and family. Professionally, this makes me a perfect fit for public relations because I’m good at just that – “relationships.” I thrive on building connections, leveraging them, and creating win-wins.

I hold an undergraduate degree in public relations from the School of Journalism and Communication at the University of Oregon and Robert D. Clark Honors College, with minors in business administration and Spanish. For my thesis, I analyzed corporate partnerships with Susan G. Komen for the Cure, focusing on KFC’s Buckets for the Cure campaign.

I set high standards for myself, my work and those I surround myself with. Together, we can make the world a better place – one word, smile and small success at a time.

Thank you for reading my blog. I hope you are able to glean a little bit of information, insight or inspiration from my posts. Comments always welcomed. Happiness to you!
